There is no character customization option available as of now. You’ll be randomly given a character avatar.
How to Save?
In order to save your progress in the game, you must have access to a shelter. The easiest way to save your game is to build a makeshift shelter. All you need is a tarp and a stick. The tarp will be available to you at the crash site. Hold “E” to save your game progress.
Can the Cannibals Swim?
The cannibals are unable to swim. They would however sometimes end up in the water but will not die. At most, the cannibals will thread water till it reaches to its waist.
How to Cook Meat?
You’ll need two things to start cooking meat. Build a fire. You’ll need sticks and leaves to do this. Once you have your fire, select your preferred meat in your inventory, and get close to the fire until the trigger to press a button comes up. Keep an eye on the meat in the fire, it will burn if it’s left in there for too long.
Who is Virginia?
Virginia is a non-playable character in the game. Together with Kelvin, she is one of two known player companions. You have the opportunity to befriend and turn her into an ally.
Who is Kelvin?
Kelvin is another non-playable character in the game. He is an AI companion that is introduced during the prologue of the game. Kelvin is deaf since the crash and is able to help you out with menial tasks such as collecting resources. He is unable to participate in combat.
Can Kelvin and Virginia die?
Yes, they both can permanently die and will not respawn again in your game. If they’re downed from an enemy attack, the next attack will kill them. Revive them before they receive the killing blow.

How Does the Multiplayer Works?
Multiplayer in this game can be done easily. Once the game is running, select the Multiplayer option to start a new game. Select Host to start a new server. If you’re joining a server, do the same but select Join. Use the filter function to find your friend’s server with ease.
How to Heal Sons of the Forest?
Healing can be done in three ways. The easiest way is to go to sleep. Sleeping in your shelter will heal you quickly. However, if you’re in combat, the best option is to find a safe spot and take your meds. Your health will regenerate with time. And finally, eating will slowly regenerate your health. Eat cooked food to get more health generation as compared to raw food.
